Eureka Poker Tour Bulgaria: Victory of Idan Greenberg
The third stage of the Eureka Poker Tour circuit had just ended and the results of this step was quite satisfactory as the event was able to gather a field of 308 competitors in its main event of 800 buy-in. Indeed, after the first two editions held in Prague and Slovenia, the Eureka Poker Tour took place in Bulgaria since June 22. And the Israeli player Idan Greenberg was elected champion of the event. By being in the place of chip leader at the start of the second day of competition during which they were only 35 survivors, Greenberg, having a big advantage put forth his talent to play poker. He managed to eliminate the Serbia Milan Rakic on the final head's up. Greenberg reached then the top spot of the podium of the Golden Sands resort Varna and pocketed a gain of 55,145.

FS & G Poker League: Its tournament will be called Epic Poker League
It remains only a month before the start of the famous tournament of poker elite organized by the FS & G Poker League founded by Jeffrey Pollack and Annie Duke. To give a more formal and serious image to the tournament, the name of the competition has been changed and now it becomes Epic Poker League (EPL). The EPL is a new circuit which will mark the poker world from this year 2011 because it will face the best poker players in live tournaments. According to Annie Duke, the EPL will consist of several TV shows and very interesting tournaments. As a reminder, the first edition of the EPL will begin on August 5, 2011 and Palm Resort & Casino in Las Vegas will be the host of the event.

WSOP: Matt Jarvis and Justin Pechie as winner in the Events # 40 and 41

BPT Dinard: Erem Demiroglu won his ticket to Cannes
The edition 2011 of the Barriere Poker Tour Dinard(BPT) crowned a young champion in the person of Demiroglu Erem. This victory allowed Demiroglu to get a ticket for the big tournament of Cannes, the World Series of Poker Europe 2011 (WSOPE). His ascension to the title has not been easy but it was with perseverance and with talent that he finally succeed to Victor Delmas. As the star of the poker room of the Casino Barrière of Dinard, Demiroglu managed to eliminate some players as Maxime Durville and Willy Korchia. Romain Nussmann also had some trouble before his qualifying for the final table because of the impertinent attacks of the champion.

WSOP 2011: The French Fabrice Soulier won a new bracelet

Ante Up For Africa charity tournament: Adjourned for the month of November
One of the appointments that become indispensable in the World Series of Poker (WSOP) circuit, the "Ante Up For Africa" charity tournament will miss for the first time its rendezvous this year 2011. WSOP 2011: A second bracelet for Jason Mercier
The American professional poker player, Jason Mercier had just won his second bracelet by winning a victory during the Event # 35 of the World Series of Poker 2011 (WSOP), a $ 5,000 Pot Limit Omaha. UKIPT: Victory of the Scottish Richard Sinclair during the Newcastle step

WSOP 2011: Three more bracelets distributed during the 20th day
The balance of the three first weeks of the World Series of Poker 2011 (WSOP) is very satisfactory until here, a first part during which poker fever invaded the different poker rooms of the Rio Casino. WSOP 2011: A bracelet for Oleksii Kovalchuk and Daniel Idema
The World Series of Poker 2011 (WSOP) come to crown two champions. Indeed, the Event # 26 No Limit Hold'em / Six Handed of $ 2,500 buy-in had just ended and at the same time awarded the trophy to the Ukrainian player Oleksii Kovalchuck. Irish Winter Festival 2011: In Dublin from October 28 to 31

Paris: The cercle Wagram closed as the Club Eldo

Lille Barrière Poker Tour: Pierre Portier at the top of the podium
Last weekend, the stage in Lille of the Barrière Poker Tour (BPT) tournament brought together 132 players. Despite the holding of the world championship of poker in Las Vegas, the BPT Lille had the same success as the previous two stages and attracted well known players as Nicolas Babel, Lucien Cohen, Sam El Sayed and Vanessa Hellebuyck. Championnat de France Interclubs 2011: The title to Sebastien Stervant of Croc All In
The past weekend was marked by the Championnat de France Interclubs 2011 (France inter-club Championship). On this occasion, more than 180 poker players represented some 90 poker clubs and enthusiasts participating in this new appointment, which was held at the Château des Condé de Vallery for the year 2011. The two days of competition let designate the new title holder for this year. Besides the main event for the many players from clubs, those who did the trip especially those who were prematurely eliminated from the Main Event were able to enjoy with other activities that were proposed, such as tennis or bocce.

Las Vegas: French players won't miss the call of the WSOP 2011
The World Series of Poker (WSOP) started in Las Vegas since Tuesday, May 31. For 7 weeks, poker enthusiasts from around the world will meet in the poker room of Rio casino in Las Vegas to compete on poker tables during the 58 events in the program. International Poker Open: Dublin will host another edition in October

Marrakesh Poker Open XX: A local player wins the main event
The Moroccan player Houssam Mhamed defended heroically the honor of his country by seizing the throne in the main event of 1,350 buy-in of the Marrakesh Poker Open (MPO) XX. However, they were 165 competitors who were registered for this competition which was played over three days with several big names of French and international poker. At the last day, the action was in full swing in the poker room of Es Saadi Casino. As highlight of this main event, the public enjoyed a tumultuous battle between Erik Haik and Mehdi Hsissen. The little statue of Superman of Mehdi Hsissen really brought happiness to him because he was able to dominate the former second best player in France.
