WPT Grand Prix de Paris 2011: A new appointment on September 5 to 10
The Aviation Club de France will host once again for this year 2011 a new event of the World Poker Tour Grand Prix de Paris. This new edition will take place within six days from September 5 to 10. In addition, many satellite qualifiers will be also offered by this gambling circle in Paris during the days before the main event from September, 1 to 4 2011 for a buy-in from 50 to 5,000.
Regarding the program of the WPT Grand Prix de Paris, there will of course a NLHE Freezeout Main Event of six days, available for 7,500 buy-in and having as structure 30,000 chips of departure stack and 90 minutes rounds. In addition, a High Roller NLHE Freezeout of 15,000 for a period of three days will be also played. This poker tournament will have stack 50,000 chips and levels of 60 minutes each. Similarly, a two-day tournament of 1,000 entry fee with a structure consisting of 15,000 chips and rounds of 45 minutes is also on the agenda. To attract more people than during the last edition of 2010 which brought together a field of 247 players, the organizers opted this year for a more accessible buy-in. As a reminder, the current holder of the WPT Grand Prix de Paris title is the Danish Theo Jorgensen who outperformed the French player Antoine Amourette during the final heads-up, pocketing a gain of 634,000.
