Fabrice « FabSoul » Soulier won his first WSOP bracelet
Fabrice Soulier, well known at poker tables using the pseudo « FabSoul », is a French pro player, who has stacked up over $2.5 million in winnings to date. He has just increased his winnings to $3.2 million thanks to his win in the HORSE Championship on June 24, where he picked up his first WSOP bracelet as well as $609,130. Born on 23 April 1969 in Avignon, he was the director of the TV show « Farce Attaque » with Laurent Baffie as well as the series « Un gars, une fille » before deciding to dedicate his time solely to playing poker.
Poker770.com, the well-known online poker site was the first to stand up and take notice of him and sponsor him for many years. Fabrice Soulier became the number 1 French player in 2001 and in 2006 and repeated the success yet again in 2009 during the World Series Of Poker, finishing 7 times in the money, including the Main Event. Fabrice Soulier is also the 3rd player in 2011 to win a WSOP bracelet. The first being Bertrand « Elky » Grospellier, with whom Fabrice Soulier gave poker lessons in a TV show shown on NRJ, and the second being Elie Payan.
