Saint Florentin: Thirty players gathered in an amateur challenge
Poker tournaments succeed but aren't alike. Indeed, far from prestigious circuits that are the World Poker Tour or the World Series of Poker 2011 which is in full swing actually in its 42nd edition in the U.S. capital of games in Las Vegas, small towns of France, including St. Florentin also live at the pace of the game. Last weekend, it was effectively at the bar Le Dilo that a stage of the Challenge national de poker hosted by a French site has been organized. Indeed, this town is one of the forty cities participating in this national challenge for the poker's most popular variant and the most practiced in the world, Texas Hold'em. Thus, they numbered about thirty amateurs therein who were present at the appointment.
The peculiarity of this national challenge lies in a game without money but with tokens. Like step conducted last week, seven other tournaments are still expected from this coming Saturday in other localities that are part of the 42 steps in the program. After each competition, there will be a winner but only the top thirty overall will have the opportunity to compete during the grand finale of Saturday, July 30, 2011. In addition, the winner of the final stage will receive tickets as gifts and a visit to see one of the biggest poker worldwide event.
