The French Guillaume Darcourt signs the best progress of the week by making a jump of 104 places to hit the 192th place of the classification. Darcourt owes this progress to his performance in Cannes where he won the Main Event of the World Poker Tour National, his first victory of this year.

After having finished 9th in 2011, 10th in 2012, Daniel Pidun finally won the European Poker Tour Berlin at the end of last week, in front of Robert Haigh. The final table took place between the eight survivors of the tournament who are respectively Pascal Vos, Daniel Pidun, Roman Herold, Roman Korenev, Alexander Helbig, Julian Thomas, Lasse Frost and Robert Haigh. The first player eliminated for the day was Roman Korenev who pocketed € 77,000. The specialist of Sit & Go Julian Thomas was the next after his confrontation with Roman Herold. His 7th place allowed him to collect € 110,000 of earnings.
