EPT Monte Carlo: The challenge will be there!
The Monte Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort welcomes from this afternoon the grand final of the European Poker Tour Saison IX, a poker appointment that enthusiasts would not miss for anything in the world. This sumptuous city of the principality of Monaco was chosen for its beauty and also for its glamorous side which rhymes with the EPT Grand Final. Last year, the poker tournament was attended by 655 participants in the Main Event. Mohsin Charania won the event after a head's up with the French Lucille Cailly. This year, the Main Event promises a big challenge because internationally renowned players will be participating in the example of Daniel Negreanu, Antonio Esfandiari, Sam Trickett, Gus Hansen, Isaac Haxton, Marvin Rettenmaier, Kevin MacPhee, Steve O'Dwyer Luca Pagano and more others. We can also count on an important French representative like Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier, Ludovic Lacay, Nicolas Levi, Manuel Bevand...
In addition to the Main Event with 10,000 entry fee that will take place from May 6 to 12, this event is also characterized by the Super High Roller scheduled from May 13 till 15. The latter is accessible for 100,000 buy-in which, last year, was won by Justin Bonomo for a prize money of 1.64 million. Having ended in the 3rd place of the Super High Roller of last year, ElkY confirmed his presence as well as many players. The date of the tournament allows the Main Event players to participate in Super High Roller, around thirty players who have already confirmed their presence in the poker room of Monte Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort!
