European Poker Tour: Announcement of the Season X program
After a Season IX full of success, the European Poker Tour (EPT) gets ready for its tenth season. This new season will begin in the end of August 2013 in Barcelona and will end with the Grand Final in Monte Carlo, in April 2014. The destinations of the previous season were kept except the stages of London and San Remo which dates changed. Thus, Barcelona will open the circuit from August 28 till September 7 followed by the stage in London (October 2 to 12), Prague (December 8 to 18), the Carribean Adventure in the Bahamas (January 4 to 13), Deauville (January 22 to February 1st), Berlin (March 12 to 22), San Remo (April 6 to 16) and Monte Carlo (April 23 to May 2). Each stage will receive a Main Event with a 5,000 buy-in except for the Carribean Adventure and the Monte Carlo Grand Final during which the buy-in will be at 10,000.
Besides the Main Event, the circuit will receive a High Roller tournament of 10,000 entrance fee that will increase in 25,000 in the Carribean Adventure and in Monte Carlo Grand Final. These two festivals will also receive Super High Rollers of 100,000. As for the events in Barcelona and in London, amateurs of High Stakes poker tournament will be honored with Events at more than 50,000 of buy-in. These two steps are part of the most important poker festivals of this year, following the partnership of the EPT with other events in Spain and in Great Britain: the Estrellas Poker Tour and the UK & Ireland Poker Tour.
