WPT Annecy: Hicham Hilmi and Olivier Estripeau sign a great performance
The World Poker Tour National and the ACF Poker Tour of Annecy have just unveiled their verdict. These two events gathered many people at Imperial casino on last weekend. Concerning the stage of the WPT, the title was attributed to Hicham Hilmi. Chipleader at the end of the first qualifying day, Hilmi eliminated his opponent in the final duel, Anthony Rodrigues, after three hours. Thus, he won the trophy, the first prize of 82,500 and also a ticket amounted 7,500 for the WPT Grand Prix of Paris. His runner-up left with the prize of 52,000 and the bronze medal; Miro Allilovic was rewarded with 33,000.
The title of the 6th step of the ACF Poker Tour season 2 has been on the contrary attributed to Olivier Estripeau. It is the second greater achievement realized by this player. In fact, he was already champion of the Marrakesh Poker Open on last month of March. Note that this poker tournament of 750 of buy-in gathered 75 participants and the final table brought together players used to play poker in major tournaments. The presence of Jérôme Thiebaud, Roger Hairabedian and Nicolas Cardyn has been particularly remarked and they respectively finished 5th, 6th and 9th. As a winner, Estripeau pocketed 13,500 and won his place for the final. Sergei Borisovskiy and Eric Joss complete the podium. The next step of this French circuit will take place at the casino-hotel Aria in Las Vegas on June 13th and July 1st, 2013.
