Tiger Jam 2013: The Tiger Woods foundation collected $ 800,000
Organized in the poker room of Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, the 15th edition of the charitable tournament of Tiger Woods, Tiger Jam, was a big hit. In fact, thanks to the organization implemented by the golfer and the partnership with the World Poker Tour, more than about fifty poker lovers and famous celebrities in the world of sport and showbiz took part in this event of $ 10,000 entry fee, which was held during the end of last week. Phil Hellmuth, Mike Sexton, Doyle Brunson, Daniel Negreanu, Dirk Nwitzki, Mark Cuban, Chris Paul and Phil Ivey himself came to the appointment. With the great disappointment of his fans, the latter was eliminated after a few minutes of game. However, the other poker professionals have given an original show to the audience. After two days of battle, the verdict has finally fallen down and it is a novice named Scott Dilon who won the victory. He succeeded to eliminate Dan Shak during the final duel.
For his amazing performance, the winner has the right to face the famous golfer and founder of the foundation, Tiger Woods, during a private party. Let us note that several other events have been organized in the margins of this poker event, to mention just a few examples, the concert of Kid Rock and the sale by auction. The total amount of the benefits collected rose $ 800,000 at the end. This sum will be attributed to the Tiger Woods foundation which works to help the underprivileged children.
