WSOP 2013: Carnivale of Poker comes to be added to the program
The World Series of Poker (WSOP) have always been and will remain a great poker festival which gathers amateurs and professionals. But with the addition of the series of tournaments Carnivale of Poker to the program, Las Vegas will be a real capital of gambling this summer. For this edition 2013 of Carnivale of Poker, 21 events will be proposed and they will be played on Mondays and Tuesdays during the period of the WSOP. The first event is among other a No-Limit Hold'em of $ 365 buy-in, it will then be held on June 3, 2013. Let us note that the entry fee to the 21 tournaments varies from $ 250 to $ 5,000. The famous poker variant Open Face Chinese will be also part of the program and the kick-off is planned for July 13, 2013.
The tournaments organized of the Carnivale of Poker will take place at Rio Pavillon and at Rio Convention Centre and apart from the bonus derived from prizepool, the winners will be entitled to a golden and diamond medallion. And the thing that will amaze even more players, is the fact that the organizers decided to set up a system of points with the aim of creating a classification of the best players of the tournament. The 10 leading players will distribute between them a prizepool of $ 100,000 among which $ 25,000 will be awarded to the leader, $ 15,000 for the second player of the ranking and $ 11,500 for the one who will occupy the third place. Concerning the method of distribution of points, the first of the ranking should collect 50 points in the tournaments Medallion and 65 points in the Main Event of $ 1,675 buy-in.
