Mobile Texas Hold'em Platform up for Grabs on eBay
A mobile Texas hold'em software platform by the name of Maui Texas Hold'em is purportedly up for grabs on eBay. The multiplayer platform is going to the highest bidder in a private auction, which is slated to kick off this Wednesday, November 2. The winner of the auction will get the source code to the Texas hold'em program's mobile clients and Java server, in addition to the ASP.Net Web page facilitating wireless delivery of the software.

As part of this effort, Svenska Spel and online gaming software provider Boss Media have expressed that they are planning to expand their business partnership. The two companies already work together for svenskaspel.se's instant gaming platform, and online poker would provide another potentially lucrative joint business initiative.

Elderly Man Charged in Strip Poker Sex Offense Case
An elderly pensioner from the Scottish town of Prestwick was charged with committing sex offenses, in connection with an incident in which he engaged a 10-year-old boy in a game of strip poker. Despite the severity of the charge, James Truesdale will face no jail time, but rather, will have to pay a fine of £400. In addition, the strip poker game has landed Truesdale on the Sex Offenders Register for the next five years.

WPT Enterprises Negotiates Broadcast Deal with Travel Channel, but Still Suing
Although still pursuing legal action against the Travel Channel, WPT Enterprises (WPTE) is reportedly in negotiations with the very same network regarding further partnership opportunities. WPTE originally filed the lawsuit, claiming that the Travel Channel had interfered with potential third party contractual relationships connected with the Professional Poker Tour (PPT), a new program developed by WPTE. WPTE perceived this interference as constituting a breach of the Travel Channel's contractual obligations.
