Sweden's flagship gaming company Svenska Spel is trying to expand its online gaming portfolio to include a poker site at the company's gaming site, www.svenskaspel.se. As part of this effort, Svenska Spel and online gaming software provider Boss Media have expressed that they are planning to expand their business partnership. The two companies already work together for svenskaspel.se's instant gaming platform, and online poker would provide another potentially lucrative joint business initiative.

Svenska Spel is currently seeking a government license to offer online poker. Apparently confident in Svenska Spel's chances for attaining the license, Boss Media has already taken upon itself preparatory measures that will make creating and implementing the site more timely, after licensing is secured.

"We are naturally very pleased to win the trust of Svenska Spel to also be involved in this journey, if they receive their license," commented Boss Media President Peter Bertilsson.
