Nadal won the ATP Hamburg - Tennis
Rafael Nadal has emerged in the ATP 500 tournament in Hamburg after a final with the Italian Fabio Fognini (7-5, 7-5). Online bet fans had to wait almost a year to review the Majorcan in top form and winning a grand slam again. His last major title dates back in 2014 at Roland Garros. The final of the Hamburg tournament has not been a cakewalk for the Spaniard who had to spend more than 2:30 on clay to get rid of his opponent. Spectators and sports betting fans attended a beautiful duel between Rafael Nadal and Fabio Fognini. Nadal was dominated in the first set with a long first game that was marked by six equalities.
Both players struggled to keep their services in the first four games; the Spaniard lost his service five times. The Italian had dominated the exchanges in the first set but eventually let go after saving three set balls. In the second set, the audience witnessed again a very long second game during which Fabio Fognini managed to save three break points. After another long session of exchange, the tension on the court was at its height as shown by the complaint of Fognini with the umpire on the incessant conversations between the Spaniard and Toni, Nadalís coach. Having obtained two set balls, Fabio Fognini eventually abdicate and left the title in Hamburg for Nadal, the second for the tennisman.
