Britain’s Andy Murray team as favorite - Davis Cup
After Wimbledon, tennis and sports betting fans are eagerly awaiting the Davis Cup which started on Friday. The meeting between Great Britain and France is the great event of the quarters since the elimination of Switzerland in the first round. The defending champion was denied of Roger Federer and Stan Wawrinka which explined this premature defeat. The competition could also take another turn because the other star of the court and recent Wimbledon champion, Novak Djokovic, will not be in the game. Indeed, Serbia will be without Djokovic during the Davis Cup because he decided to take a break after the marathon on London lawn.
Switzerland will be led by Viktor Troicki and will face Argentina on clay in Buenos Aires. Deprived of Juan Monaco, Argentina will remain a strong team, as it has two exceptional players as Leonardo Mayer and Diego Schwartzman. With Milos Raonic and Vasek Pospisil injured, Canada will have the difficult task to face Belgium in Ostend. In singles, Canada will align Frank Dancevic (272nd) and Filip Peliwo (491st). In Darwin, Australia will be without Bernard Tomic against Kazakhstan, but can count on Nick Kyrgios and Thanasi Kokkinakis to try to qualify for the semifinals against Great Britain or France. We also retain the second division match between Russia and Spain in Vladivostok. This match is far from unanimous among online betting enthusiasts, but the winner of this duel will play a playoff match in September for a place among the elite.
