Elimination of Rafael Nadal during the 2nd round - Wimbledon
After his early defeat in Roland-Garros, Rafael Nadal continues to live a difficult season. Effectively, the 10th ATP series player has just been eliminated from the Wimbledon tournament by a player ranked 102nd in the world ranking after 2 hours 37 minutes of play. The Spaniard wasn’t able to impose his game face to Dustin Brown and leave Wimbledon just at the 2nd round. The 30 years German defeated then the two times winner in Wimbledon (2008 and 2010) in four sets (7-5, 3-6, 6-4, 6-4). This defeat is a big surprise for fans of tennis and keen of sport betting. However, the lawn was not a friend of Nadal during these two last years. In 2014, Spain’s native left also this meeting in London at the same stage of the competition.
Dustin Brown played a match without pressure as he knows to convert his ardor into points, as evidenced by 49 successes on 85 ascents to the net. Spectators and bettors who attended the match on the Centre Court lived a wonderful moment because Dustin Brown was in total confidence to face Nadal who tried to turn the corner after Paris. But the match turned to the advantage of the German from the first set. Nadal managed to take the second set, but the last two have escaped him. Brown is known on the circuit by his service, and confirmed his status as big server with 13 aces and 77% points won on his first ball. Dustin Brown will face in the next round the Serbian Viktor Troicki, who defeated the British, Aljaz Bedene (6-4, 3-6, 6-2, 6-4).
