Winner of the Valero Texas Open 2014, Steven Bowditch was just awesome in this tournament in Texas with a map of 7 birdies and only two bogeys. He showed a good regularity during these four days which let him winning his second PGA title. The Australian began the tournament with a 62 card (-8), 68 (-2), 65 (-5) and 64 (-6) in the final round. This victory allows him to occupy the 16th place ranking in the US PGA Tour.
Steven Bowditch finished the tournament with a final score of -21, a 4 strokes ahead of his nearest rival Scott Pinckney. Two other Americans finished with the same card (-17) as Pinckney, namely Jimmy Walker and Charley Hoffman. The No. 1 US ranking, Jordan Spieth, could not do better than 30th, 11 shots off the lead, with maps of 69 (-1), 64 (-6), 68 (-2) and 69 (-1). The winner of the Masters 2015 had a bad experience this year even if he impressed everyone at the age of 16, by finishing 16th.
