A 22nd win in a row for Djokovic - Rome Masters 1000
Novak Djokovic is the favorite in sports betting for the Roland Garros tennis tournament. Last weekend, the Serb triumphed again in a grand slam by winning the Masters 1000 Forro Italico. Before this victory in Italy, Djokovic also won the Australian Open, the Masters 1000 Indian Wells, Miami and Monte Carlo, or all the grand slams he played this year. The Rome Masters 1000 allowed Djokovic to consolidate his world leadership with 22 straight wins. Unfazed since the start of the tournament, the Serb gives any chance to Roger Federer in the final (6-4, 6-3). Djokovic eliminated quickly David Ferrer in the semifinals before going to face the No. 2 in the final. Roger Federer was defeated for the 19th time in 39 matches against Djoko, a duel followed by online betting enthusiasts.
The final was marked by the domination of Novak Djokovic with record stats in service. He set a new record with 84.2% of points won on his first ball and 66.7% on the second ball. The Rome Masters 1000 remains the tournament that lack in the prizelist of the Switzerland’s native. This is the fourth final he blurted at Forro Italico after his defeat in 2013 and 2006 against Rafael Nadal and in 2003 against Felix Mantilla. Novak Djokovic is in top fit at a week from the beginning of the Paris Grand slam since he has not lost any of his matches on clay this year.
