A new Shooting Star Casino in Bagley - Minnesota
The White Earth Nation, operator of the Shooting Star Casino & Hotel in Mahnomen, announced its new casino project in Bagley, Minnesota. Designed by Cunningham Group, the project will be built from the month of September and should be completed in the spring. In its statement, the management announced that the project will create 40 new jobs for tribal members and other surrounding communities. The casino will be located in Clearwater County, on Highway 27 between the cities of Ebro and Bagley. According to the CEO of Shooting Star Casino in Mahnomen, Bill Marsh, extending its presence with the construction of a new facility is the best way to satisfy its customers. Marsh promised a new gaming entertainment experience in this area with the establishment of this new casino project.
In addition to creating new jobs, the new casino will help to make Bagley destination more attractive and bring also additional income to fund education, health and other activities in the region. As a reminder, the Shooting Star Casino in Mahnomen opened since May 1992. The property includes a hotel of 386 rooms, a casino, a concert hall and a conference room. They are part of the expansion plan completed in 2001 and required an investment of $ 30 million. The opening of the facility enabled the creation of nearly 1,000 jobs with a payroll of about $ 27 million per year.
