The City Council approves its relocation - Larmor-Plage Casino
The Larmor-Plage casino got the green light from the investigating commissioner for its move to its permanent premises in Port Maria. After having operated in a temporary installation at Minio bowling, the Société bretonne d'exploitation des casinos (SBEC) will finally have the possibility to operate in its final casino and it can therefore increase its offers which are not limited only in gambling. Even if the permanent building is still in works, the inquiry commissioner was already favorable for the move. The public inquiry showed that 87% of the opinions were in favor of the relocation project. Recall that the temporary casino at Minio occupied a space of 600 m2. The casino currently offers 75 slot machines, an English roulette table and a blackjack table.
With the current offers, even if it’s still provisional, Larmor-Plage casino has managed to become the first gambling facility in the Morbihan department in terms of results. The new facility covers 2,100 m2, including 1,300 m2 open to the public. The investment amounts to 17 million Euros and will create more than 80 jobs. The favorable notice of the council will allow Larmor-Plage to move its casino in the fall, a move that will be accompanied by the installation of 125 slot machines and four table games. In addition to the room, the hotel will also host several entertainment facilities such as animation room, bar, semi-gastronomic restaurant and brasserie.
