A casino will open in Ovalle in 2016 - Chile
Chile is preparing to welcome a new international scale casino in early 2016. Ovalle Casino and Resort will open its doors in March 12, 2016 according to the Boldt Peralada in its press release of last week. This Spanish-Argentinian investor consortium supported the project of $ 50 million for the space dedicated to game that wants to be the largest private investment in the city of Ovalle. According to the commercial director of Ovalle Casino and Resort, Juan Carlos Salaberry, the construction of the structural part has already reached 43%. The construction should be completed in December; the interior finishing and the decoration part of the casino should start in January 2016 for an opening planned for March. However, the casino will be operational in February before its official opening.
Boldt Peralada already operates four casinos in Latin America, two in Brazil and two in Argentina. Its fifth casino, the Ovalle Casino and Resort, will be opened in the cozy city of Ovalle, in the Coquimbo region. Remember that work on the casino have already begun in 2014 and offers 1,500 part-time jobs and 300 full-time jobs. According to the mayor of Ovalle, Claudio Renteria, the project is important to support tourism and to ensure the development of the city. The establishment received its casino gaming license in September 2013. Ovalle got this license through the Casino Austria project that was finally abandoned by another group of investors.
