Namur hosts another leg of the BPC festival on November 28 - Belgian Poker Challenge
The Belgian Poker Challenge (BPC) is a poker tournament that has always attracted public interest, especially poker players from France. This year, the BPC expects to seduce a large number of French participants as the France Poker Series Paris has been officially cancelled following the administrative closure of the hosting facility, Cercle Cadet. After the Belgian Poker Challenge Spa of last September, the BPC is making another stop in Namur from November 28 to December 7, 2014. This BPC Namur features a wide range of offers, including the 1,100 buy-in Main Event, 250 Six-max, 1,000 Heads Up Invitational, 250 Pot Limit Omaha and the 110 Ladies Event. Actually, the BPC Namur 2014 offers 18 events run over 10 days. May we remind you that the previous edition recorded 470 entries. This field generated a prize pool of 608,180, the 97,304 of which was awarded to first-place finisher Laurens De Smet. Run alongside the BPC Namur Main Event was a High Roller event that saw the reigning European Poker Tour champion Davidi Kitai emerged victorious from the battle.
In addition to the BPC Namur, three other tournaments are also organized as alternatives to the FPS Paris. Online poker fans will be warmly served from November 2nd to 17th with the holding of French Championship Of Online Poker; note that the FCOOP clothes a total prize pool of 4.5 million for 27 events. For live poker enthusiasts, the festivity continues with the Eureka Poker Tour Prague (December 7 to 17) and the FPS Etudiants at Casino Barrière of Deauville (from December 20).
