WSOP Asia-Pacific: Ten bracelets to win from October 2nd to 18th, 2014
New home ground of poker, the region Asia-pacific has been entitled to its world championship of poker since last year. After a successful first edition, the World Series Of Poker Asia-Pacific (WSOP APAC) are coming back this year with a quite full program. On the contrary of the previous edition, the WSOP APAC 2014 reserves ten bracelets. In fact, ten major events rewarded with WSOP bracelets, against six in 2013, will be organized from October 2nd to 18th of this year. Numerous players stood out during the first edition of the WSOP APAC. While Daniel Negreanu offered himself the Main Event, Philipp Gruissem stood out in the High Roller. The travel in Melbourne was also gratifying for Phil Ivey who won his ninth bracelet.
This second edition of the World Series Of Poker Asia-Pacific is going to take place in Melbourne, always at the Crown casino. The most waited events of this poker festival of the Asia-pacific are the Main Event at AU$10,000 and the tournament High Roller at AU$25,000, but other poker tournaments with more affordable buy-in will be also organized throughout these sixteen days. The WSOP APAC 2014 will start with the famous tournament Accumulator with a buy-in of AU$1,100, but numerous other tournaments, interesting as well in their formats as in variants, are also scheduled. Thus, players will be able to participate in Terminator tournaments with a buy-in of AU$1,650 with a bounty of AU$500, in the AU$2,200 NLH, the AU$1,650 Pot Limit Omaha, the AU$1,650 Dealer's Choice as well as the henceforth famous Mixed Max with a buy-in of AU$5,000. The Main Event is going to begin in October 12th and will last over seven days.
