Two highlight events make this week special - WSOP 2015
This week, there are two highlight events_part of the 2015 World Series of Poker (WSOP) s schedule_ that will surely draw great attention of poker enthusiasts. Listed 1st is the Poker Player's Championship of $ 50,000 in entry-fee, kicking off on June 22 from 16h. Admittedly, this poker tournament will bring together High-stakes experts. An average field of 124 entries is expected this year. Prize at stake is simply gigantic with a total prize pool of up to $ 60 million. Interestingly, the eventual winner will not only be awarded the top payday but also a "David Chip Reese Memorial Trophy. It is worth mentioning that the events structure undergo small change this year. Coming alongside the change are two poker variants, namely the badugi and No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw.
The second flagship event is the $ 1,000 buy-in Super Seniors No-Limit Hold'em. What will make this event special is the fact that legendary Doyle Brunson will be among the contenders. Brunson actually gears himselp up for a notch in this battle. As a reminder, Brunson has focused on cash games in the last couple of years, turning his back to WSOP events. Last year, he only appeared in the Poker Player's Championship. His latest WSOP feat is dated back in 2013 when he finished 409th in the Ultimate Main Event. This time, Brunsons fans and poker lovers are sure to witness action-packed battle at the Rio All Suite.
