Christian Pham and Jeffrey Tomlinson are among the lucky ones - WSOP 2015
The adventure continues for poker enthusiasts who are currently battling it out in Las Vegas for their own World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelets. Two of them have just claimed their crowns, namely Pham Christian and Jeffrey Tomline. For Pham, he did not expected such feat when he first subscribed in the $ 1,500 buy-in No-Limit Seven Lowball Draw. Yet, he emerged victorious in the poker tournament. Actually, the 40 years-old poker player planned to join a No-Limit Texas Hold'em table. A priori, the two events were quite similar as Pham did not know he ended up playing a lowball draw tournament. Despite all this, he clinched the win. Phams 1st-place finish allows him to grab home a gold bracelet, plus a top prize of $ 81,314.
As for Jeffrey Tomlinson, he also enjoyed quite a stunning performance. He was awarded the top payday of $ 567,724 along with a championship bracelet as he emerged victorious in the 2015 WSOP- Event # 25, the $ 5,000No-Limit Hold'em 8-Handed. Daniel O'Brien, Jonathan Little, Dominik Nitsche and Jonathan Jaffe were part of the notables contending for the title. Frances Pierre Milan, questing for his 2nd WSOP bracelet, was also among the field. Unfortunately, Jeffrey Tomlinson cut his run off. The two men met in the heads-up with Milan bagging the chip lead. The fatal move came with a peer of Aces and the French poker pro was ousted. This year, no player from France has won a bracelet.
