Brian Hastings and Sam Greenwood claimed their own lion’s share - WSOP 2015

The poker room of Rio All Suites Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas is currenty heating up with event results. This weekend, two players claimed their wins. The first man is Brian Hastings, a young talented poker player who actually made a name of himself in No-Limit Hold'Em and Pot-Limit Omaha events. Recall that he now holds $ 4 million in online poker earnings for only one session of online battle. This time, Hastings grabbed his 2nd World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet by winning the $ 10,000 buy-in Seven Card Stud tournament. A panel of poker pros contended in this race. Include the likes of Scott Clements who saw himself teeing against Hastings in the heads-up. Unbeatable, Hastings came up victorious and was awarded $ 239,518.

The second “champion” is Canada’s big name Sam Greenwood. Sam is actually the first Canadian player to seal a win in the WSOP. Sam Greenwood won the Event # 22, the $ 1,000 buy-in No-Limit Hold'em, after a tough battle lasting 8 hours. Apart from the gold bracelet, the young entrepreneur and savvy poker player “Greenwood” was awarded $ 318,977 for his victory. The ongoing $ 1,500 buy-in HORSE event is now some hands away to a winner. Phil Hellmuth is part of those notables running in contention for the title. In order to turn his 15th bracelet wish a reality, he has to make a tremendous effort: he is battling it out as a short stack.
