Daniel Alaei notched his 5th championship bracelet - WSOP 2015

21 of the 68 poker tournaments listed on the 2015 World Series of Poker (WSOP) schedule are now over. Daniel Alaei is one of the lucky players claiming their wins in this ongoing festival. USA’s poker pro Daniel Alaei actually turned his run in the Event # 21, the $ 10,000 buy-in Omaha Hi-Lo Championship, a notch. The 30 years-old poker player now has 5 gold bracelets in his wins-packed record. As a reminder, Alaei won his first 3 bracelets in Omaha events, including two in Limit Hi-Lo and one in Pot Limit. His fourth bracelet is the fruit of his $ 5,000 buy-in 2-7 No-Limit victory in the 2006 WSOP. Daniel Alaei also possesses one World Poker Tour (WPT) title. He was crowned champion of the WPT Five Diamond in 2009. After all, he has a truly impressive poker resume.

Despite his incredible talent and experience, Alaei had to fight against all odds to eventually emerge victorious in the 2015 WSOP-Event # 21. Indeed, the field featured formidable contenders, namely Ken Aldridge, Scott Clements, Erik Seidel and Eli Elezra. Facing Kyle Miaso in the heads-up, Alaei saw himself battling against a rival with a greater chip advantage over him. Tough yet hectic was the clash, Alaei came up strong and ousted Kyle to cash the top prize of $ 391,097. With this win, Daniel Alaei has just entered the big names’ closed circle alongside Adrian Buckley, Shaun Deeb and Phil Hellmuth.
