Here is the recap of the Day 12s actions - WSOP 2015
It's been 12 days that both amateurs and poker pros battle it out at the Rio All Suite Hotel & Casino, in Las Vegas, for the 2015 World Series of Poker (WSOP). For the moment, the play is still underway. However, it is a hard-fought one given the presence of high-profile title contenders. The $ 1,500 buy-in Event #16 Millionaire Maker is among the ongoing battles. In terms of attendance rate, it fell short to expectation since only 7,275 players join the event this year. Currently, the massive field has trimmed to 142 players with Justin Pechie atop the leaderboard. He will have to fight really hard to make it through the final table as a panel of notables are in the ambush, namely Olivier Busquet, Blair Hinkle and Andrew Lichtenberger. Interestingly, the eventual champion in this poker tournament will walk away with a whopping prize of $ 277,193.
Event # 17, the $ 10,000 buy-in Razz Championship, is also worth a look. This event is now some actions away from its ultimate day with 12 competitors remaining, Phil Hellmuth included. Securing 3rd position in the chip count, Poker Brat hopes to win his 14th gold bracelet in this event. To make it happen, he has to stand still against fearsome notables, such as Mike Leah, Brandon Shack-Harris, Shaun Deeb and Erik Seidel. The Event # 18 $ 1,000 NLHE Turbo with its gigantic field of 1,791 entrants also continues its trimming phase; 29 survivors now remain in this battle. Frances Baptiste Line is part of them and will, in case of elimination, make the money. Finally, half of the initial field now remains in the Event # 19, the $ 3,000 Limit Hold'em Six-Handed. Stars of poker including Sorel Mizzi, David Benyamine, Andre Akkari and Daniel Negreanu are running in the hunt for the title.
