Vilamoura plays host to the 6th stop of the series - Solverde Poker Season 2015
After the recently-concluded event held in the Monte Gordo Casino, the Solverde Poker Season keeps rolling by landing in Vilamoura. The city of Vilamoura will, once again, vibrate under the rhythms of poker with the 2015 SPS. Recall that the 5th stop of the Solverde Poker Season was held early in May at the Monte Gordo Casino with Tiago Branco crowned champion by beating a field of 136 entrants. A number of internationally-reknown poker players also joined the battle in the poker room of the abovementioned casino facility. Apart from local players, other participants from Portugal, Spain, Italy and Germany took part in the event. And it was Tiago Branco who grabbed home the whopping prize of 13,192.
The 6th stop of the Solverde Poker Season will run from June 4 to 7, and is expected to seduce many Portugal-based poker enthusiasts given the increasing popularity of the series in the country. With a limited participation to 230 entries, the three-days Main Event will kick off on June 5. Speaking of the structure, the buy-in is set to 250 for a starting stack of 30,000 chips. As usual, the blind level will increasy every 40 minutes of play. Among other events on the menu are Satellites of 60 of entry-fee, allowing the lucky ones to qualify for the Main Event. Apart from the Main, the famed 110 buy-in Side Event Second Chance is among the highlights. In this race, participation is capped at 90 players, and each participant will be given a starting stack of 12,000 chips for 30-minute levels of play.
