The Venetian Poker King Club is now operational - Macau
The Venetian Macao has just crossed a milestone by inaugurating its new poker room, the Poker King Club (PKC) on May 22. A hundred of notable guests, including Phil Ivey, Johnny Chan, Tom Dwan... attended the ceremony, along with the PKC Director Winfred Yu and the Venetian & Plaza Vice President, Ciaran Carruthers. During his speech, Winfred Yu highlighted that the Venetian PKC could become a flagship meeting point for gamblers. It will also be a VIP type of entertainment venue that will increase the reputation of the Venetian Macao while contributing to the development of poker in the region, he added. Housed in the Phoenix Hall, the brand-new non-smoking gambling establishment actually clothes itself with an original and luxurious architecture.
It also features luxurious amenities, including 24 tables with USB port system, adjustable seats for optimum comfort, and HD TVs placed in different locations. To spice everything up, all Venetian Poker King Club customers will benefit from a high quality catering service. Held alongside the inauguration ceremony was a charity poker tournament, the benefit from which will be used to fund the Caritas Macao. Phil Ivey, Taleda Tsuneaki, Won Wai Kin, Yu, Chan, Stanley Choi and Raymond Chow were among the field in this Macanes Pataca 300,000 (approximately 34,400) Prize Pool Guaranteed Event. And at the end of the sit and go game, it was Chan who sealed the win. May we remind you that this Venetian Macaos new poker room will not only host major events but also run weekly PKC tournaments.
