D. Negreanu and J. Somerville face off to speed up online poker regulation - California
This Thursday, May 21, Daniel Negreanu and Jason Somerville will be addressing attendees at the Legislative Office Building in Sacramento, California. During that conference, the two stars of online poker game will perform a live demonstration. Of course, both men will also hail their opinions about the political aspect of online poker and its long-awaiting regulation. their aim is to sensitize California lawmakers and politicians on the need for the industrys regulation. Indeed, for Somerville, he will be demonstrating to the state legislation officials how a legal and reliable gaming environment could benefit both the state and players. Thus, speaking in this conference would be a great opportunity for Negreanu and Somerville to motivate legislators to speed up the enforcement of the recently-submitted i-poker bill. California legislators will discuss the matter on May 22.
It is worth mentioning that online poker regulation has been a thorny top of discussion in California in recent months. Cal Assemblymen had long been discussing and analyzing a bill they finally voted last month.
