Jesse McVicker leads to Day 2 - RunGood Poker Series Hard Rock Tulsa
The poker room of Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tulsa has been abuzz since last Saturday with the 2015 RunGood Poker Series. A gigantic field size was expected in this event, but only 363 players responded to the call. On Saturday, 112 and 126 entries were recorded respectively on Day 1B and 1C, while Day 1A saw 125 participants. With the overall 363 player-field, the Main Event successfully punched out the guaranteed prize pool of $ 100,000. In fact, it generates a prize pool of $ 200,000, $ 50,000 of which will be awarded to the eventual winner. In addition to the seven-digit prize, the lucky one of this 2015 RunGood Poker Series Hard Rock Tulsa Main Event will be given a $ 10,000 package to the highly anticipated 2015 World Series of Poker Main Event.
Wrapping Day 1A up on top of the chip count, Jesse McVicker keeps the pace in confidence to Day 2 with 254,000 in chips. Miguel Hernandez comes 2nd by amassing 187,500 chips at the end of Day 1B. Day 1C chip leader, Justin Gardenhire, is ranked 4th on the leader board with 153,500 chips, a bunch of chips away behind Richard Kollers (168,000). Admittedly, Gardenhire hit an impressively great performance on the Saturday battle. After his elimination on Day 1B, he enrolled himself on the last day of the starting flights to eventually qualify for the next phase of this poker tournament. Gardenhire dazzled Day 1Cs 126 participants after four levels of play. 87 players are actually heading to Day 2. That panel includes notable names Jonathan Gaviao (180,500 chips), Dan Martin (101,000), Keith Ferrera (86,500) and Ryan Tepen (35,000).
