The penultimate battle before the Season 3s end - HPO Charles Town
The Hollywood Poker Open (HPO) has been running across the United States with its Season 3 carnival for several months now. Closing it out is the upcoming Championship Event scheduled in Las Vegas. Prior to this Grand Final which will be held in the poker room of M Resort Casino & Spa, participants are given an opportunity to qualify themselves from April 30 to May 10. It is about the HPO Regional event at the Hollywood Casino - Charles Town Races (Charles Town), Virginia. Note the fifth stop of the 2015 HPO is now underway in the state of Missouri where another qualifying Regional event is played in St. Louis. As the penultimate battle before the most anticipated race, the HPO Charles Town promises an exceptional formula with 100 seats to be won to Las Vegas. The HPO Columbus, from May 14 to 24, is actually the latest leg of the series.
Like the other regional stops of this ongoing season, the HPO Charles Town features 31 events, 11 of which will enable participants to win qualifying seats to the Championship Event. With a reshaped buy-in of $ 1,115, the Main Event is expected to attract more players than last year. A number of satellite events, such as the $ 125 buy-in Turbo Satellite and the $ 235 buy-in Mega Satellite, will be run till the second day flight of the Main Event. As a reminder, the 2014 HPO Championship Event was won by Brian Cavaliere. He crushed a field of 72 players for $ 39,756 of prize.
