Bruno Sangla wins the Gujan-Mestrass leg of the tour - EPL 2015
Kicked off last Friday, the Everest Poker Live (EPL) keeps on rolling this year with the second stop of the tour held in the poker room of Casino Gujan-Mestras. The EPL Gujan-Mestras battle concluded on Sunday with Sangla Bruno claiming the top prize. He beat Romain Despres in the final showdown. This three-day poker competition is a truly fruitful run for Bruno Sangla as he pocketed 11,292 of cash. As for the runner-up, Romain Despres, he had a pretty nice day in Gujan-Mestras by reaching the final table of the Main Event, though he did not weigh that much facing the local legend. By finishing to 2nd place, Despres has been awarded 7,400. Falling to 3rd place was Saber Harrazi; for his part, he cashed 5,050. Harrazis elimination was preceded by that of Txomin Larrañeta (4th, 3,650), Michael Da Cunha (5th, 3,010), Mathieu Plantin (6th, 2,620), Adrien Sanz (7th, 2,380) Fabrice Cantin (8th, 2,190), Jérome Cransac (9th, 2,010) and Pamela Grafouillere (10th, 1,830).
The 300 buy-in Everest Poker Live Gujan-Mestras Main Event was a stunning success. It seduced a gigantic field of 244 poker players; the second stop of the tour actually boasts itself with a prize pool of 60,902 for the eventual 29 ITM survivors. Albinet Sébastian was the first player to make the money. His 29th-place finish allowed him to gain 640. This time, the EPL spoiled those who made the trip to Gujan-Mestras with a festivity full of ambience and joyful atmosphere. Twisters Live ensured the entertainment show during which participants could tee off themselves against renowned poker pros, such as Fabrice Soulier and Benjamin Pollak. The Everest Poker Lives 3rd stop is scheduled from June 27 to 28 in Forges-les-Eaux.
