Five steps left for the Season 5 - France Poker Series
In a few days, the France Poker Series (FPS) will begin its fifth season on the occasion of the Grand Final of the European Poker Tour (EPT) which will be held in Monaco. Certainly the Season 5 of the France Poker Series saw once again the number of its steps declined from eight to five between the first and the fourth season, but this should not prevent regulars of the event to spent unforgettable moments this year. The winning formula of last year has been retained, namely four live stages and an online step, before the final at the Casino Barrière of Deauville. This initiative has been taken to improve the tournament structure and increase the influx of players into the best poker destinations in France. Last year, the final of Deauville had set a new record attendance with 1,355 players.
The Monte Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort will open the season 5 with the FPS Monaco from April 28 to May 3, followed by an online stage (May 17 to 26), the FPS Lille at Casino Barriere of Lille (July 22 to 26) and the FPS Enghien at Casino Barriere of Enghien-les-Bains (December 16 to 20). The Main Event of each stage is accessible at 1,100. If the four Main Event of the Season 4 had collected a prize pool of 3,557,570, organizers guarantee this year a provision of 2,700,000.
