The big names get-together from May 15 to 16 - Tiger's Poker Night
Here we go again, Tiger Woods Tiger's Poker Night is back this year with its 4th edition. This annual $ 10,000 buy-in poker tournament is scheduled from May 15 to 16 at the MGM Grand Casino & Hotel, Las Vegas. As is the tradition, the event's proceeds will be deposited into Tiger Woods Foundations coffer. As a reminder, Tiger Woods Foundation is a charity that provides underprivileged children in the US with better schooling opportunities. As for the tournament, its field will include wealthy personalities, businessmen, stars, TV and sport celebrities. Last year, this Tiger-initiated poker event saw South Africas Kinesh Pather as a winner. He beat a field of 50 celebrities, including notables Doyle Brunson, Phil Hellmuth, Daniel Negreanu and Antonio Esfandiari. UK famed actor Kunal Nayyar and Dallas Mavericks (NBA franchise) owner Mark Cuban were also in attendance. Many of those who part took in the previous editions have already announced their participation in this years Tigers Poker Night.
Tiger Woods Foundation is a charity organization founded in 1996 by Tiger Woods and his father, Earl Woods. The purpose of the foundation is to fund health and education-related projects for disadvantaged young Americans. Every year, the TWF creates and runs a variety of events including the Tiger's Poker Night, a special event that allows participants to meet numbers of world famed personalities. The winner will be given an opportunity to play a round of golf with the legendary and super wealthy US golf player Tiger Woods.
