RedCactus Team offers free poker tournaments in pubs and bars - France
RedCactus was born thanks to an interesting discovery made by Céline Cauvin and Nicolas Carayon during their business trip in England when they took some after-work drinks while playing free poker games in pubs. Back in France, they joined hands to recreate the concept to the entire delight of poker game fans. RedCactus now works on a weekly poker tournament that sees both experienced players and novices on a free game table. It is held in multiple pubs and restaurants across France. Winners of each tournament will be given tickets to the regional finals; first-place finishers in these regional clashes will make up the field of the ultimate National Final, scheduled in the first month of the year. To date, RedCactus poker is currently available in 200 bars and pubs in France. This initiative has already attracted over 32,000 players.
Obvious as it is, partnership is the cornestone on which RedCactus has encountered an incredible popularity. For this very reason, RedCactus founders keep on seeking other potential facilities, namely bars, restaurants, poker rooms, equipment suppliers and funding partners. The next step for RedCactus would be a coordinated presentation of this project to players and bar owners in the neighboring countries, and eventually, throughout the whole Europe. This concept initiated by RedCactus Team has actually made the dream of Maison du Bluff winner Christophe Ducrot come true; he won the 2012 RedCactus National Final. It is worth mentioning that RedCactus run its first-ever free poker tournament back in 2010. Not only does it provide participants with totally free and innovative hobby, but also generates a better customer base for the hosting establishments.
