NJs poker revenue experienced a slight increase February 2015 - New Jersey
The New Jersey Gaming Commission released its latest monthly report on poker revenue last Thursday. While New Jerseys poker industry experienced a relatively steep increase in 2014, this years figures have seen stagnation. The February report saw $ 10,404,367 of igaming revenues in New Jersey, an increase of 0.9% to $ 97,281 compared to the same month in 2014. As for their part, NJs casino platforms amassed $1,106,829 more than they did the same period last year. This February report also shows $ 2,045,655 of revenues garnered by the Garden States poker rooms. Oddly, a year earlier, it saw $ 3,109,203.
Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa remains the No.1 gaming establishment encoutouring a relatively modest increase in February, despite a 1.03 % drop compared to a month earlier. However, the Borgota & Partypoker coalition banked the best figure last month with $ 3,735,720 of revenues, including $ 2,632,219 from online casino platforms and $ 1,103,501 from online poker. As for Caesars Interactive Entertainment, its total revenue amounts to $ 2,528,315, $ 1,586,161 of which is drawn from casino and $ 942,154 from poker), that is, a 8.3% drop compared to January 2015. Golden Nugget Atlantic City, Tropicana Casino & Resort and Resorts AC related no gaming revenue figures on the February report. Anyway, Golden Nugget Atlantic City is thunder-hit by a 36.2% decrease in February 2015 with $ 1,464,002 of revenue. Tropicana Casino & Resort, for its part, recorded $ 2,625,421of total revenue last month and boasted itself with 2.5 % increase. Freshly-operational Resorts AC pulled in $ 50,909 during its first month of running. As Nevada and Delaware confirmed earlier this year that both States will enter a liquidity sharing agreement, it is hoped that New Jersey would step on the same path for a better improvement of the States igaming profitability.
