32 events on the menu - Hollywood Poker Open Grantville
The Hollywood Casinos poker room at Penn National Race Course in Grantville, Pennsylvania, is playing host to another stop of the Hollywood Poker Open (HPO) Season 3. Scheduled from March 26 to April 5, this 10-day poker festival features 32 events, 11 of which are qualifiers to the season-ending Championship Event at the M Resort Casino Spa, Las Vegas. Last year, over 200 players were awarded tickets to the most anticipated battle. Since the beginning of the Season 3, three players have respectively made names of themselves by winning in the three previous HPO stops: Jesse McEuen clinched victory in the HPO Lawrenceburg in November, Charles Maxcy secured that in Toledo in February while Donald McArthur hit the top prize of the freshly-completed HPO Tunica.
Last year, the $ 1,800 buy-in HPO Grantville Main Event was won Bradley Yazici. He topped a 37-player field to earn a $ 22,752 payday. With a view to seduce a great number of participants, the entry-fee to the Main Event this year has been revised to a much affordable one: $ 1,115. Moreover, the 2015 Hollywood Poker Open schedule includes two satellite battles that enable players to grab some passes to the Main Event: the $ 125 buy-in Turbo and the $ 235 buy-in Mega Satellites. Alongside the highlight race in this poker festival, players can part take in other events of lower buy-ins, such as the $ 125 No Limit, the $ 125 NLH Bounty - Green Chip, $ 235 NLH Deepstack, $ 235 Ladies Event, $ 235 Seniors Event, $ 300 NLH Deepstack and the $ 300 Bounty - Black Chip.
