The festival continues in Gironde from March 5 to 8 - Barrière Poker Tour 2015
Four months after the new seasons kick-off stop in Enghien-les-Bains, Barrière Poker Tour is now preparing its second stop in Gironde. While the BPT Enghien hit a record-breaking attendance rate with 702 entries, that event was sadly marked by a cheating freak, leading to the disqualification of talented poker player Hicham Hilmi. No further information has been released over the past four months; but a number of sources suggest the complicity of a card dealer. Alonside this well-oiled scandal, Barrière Group is also subject to another controversy at the European Poker Tour Deauville, particularly about its dealers housing. As a direct effect of this issue, Deauville is erased from the 2016 EPT Schedule.
After a few months of break, the BPTs new season is launching another big festivity with seven poker tournaments on the agenda of Barrière casinos across France, from this weekend to September. Bordeaux-based Casino Barrière is playing host to the second stop of the tour this weekend with a Deep Stack battle of 570 buy-in as the highlight event. Speaking of the Main Event, it features two starting days. Interestingly, it includes a re-entry to please those who would prematurely hit the rail during those two starting flights. After Bordeaux, the tour will make another stop in Ribeauvillé (March 26 to 29), Deauville (April 23 to 26), Nice Le Ruhl (May 7 to 10), Toulouse (May 21 to 24), Blotzheim (June 25 to 28) and Lille (September 10 to 13).
