Igor Yaroshevskyy leads the Final six - WPT LAPC 2015
After a tough five-day battle, the total field of 538 entries at the 2015 WPT LA Poker Classic is now played down to six. Of course, the final table is shaping up to be a tough one in the poker room of The Commerce Casino, Los Angeles. The six players making it through the final table include two-time LAPC champion Anthony Zinno. This highly skilled poker player is actually seeking another big title to join the likes of Carlos Mortensen and Gus Hansen, the close circle of men with three World Poker Tour wins. It is still worth mentioning that Anthony Zinno emerged victorious in the 2013 WPT Borgata Poker Open Main Event and the WPT Fallsview Poker Classic last month. This time, the 33 year-old poker guru will really have to fight hard to grab a third WPT title: with 1,480,000 chips, he is ranked 5th in chip count. Zinno is well ahead of the final sixs shortstack Chris Klodnicki (920,000 chips) though.
Igor Yaroshevskyy is going into the final table with the highest number of chips; he relegates Day 5s chip leader Peter Tran to 4th position. Igor Yaroshevskyy and Mike Leah lead the pack with a respective stack of 5,315,000 and 4,715,000 chips. Peter Neff is third in chip count; he is entering the final table with a pretty modest stack of 2,120,000 chips, ahead of Peter Tran with 1,585,000 chips. As for Vladimir Dobrovolskiy (7th), Edward Ochana (8th), Tim Cramer (9th), Ray Henson (10th), Vadim Baranovsky (11th) and Ken Aldridge (12th), their runs were cut at the end of Day 5.
