The organization disturbed, the Grand final postponed - Marvellous Poker Tour
Marvellous Poker Tour, the largest live poker tournament known for its high payouts, has just been hit by a thunder-like news following the unexpected end of partership between Roger Hairabedian and MyJoaPok. Subsequently, Roger Hairabedian was forced to postpone the Marvellous Poker Tour Grand Final, a poker festivity initially scheduled from May 25 to 31 , 2015, at Grand Casino La Mamounia, in Marrakesh. As a reminder, this event of $ 10,000 buy-in with a guaranteed prize pool of $ 1 million sets 30% of the player-field to go home with cashes while most of tournaments only share 10 to 15% of the total buy-in bills. Interesting as this structure is, this additional figure is sure to lure many poker inthousiasts into participation.
As a negative impact of the end of partnership between Roger Hairabedian and MyJoaPok, both the live qualifying battles in the brick-and-mortar casinos of Joa Group and satellite events on Joas online poker room have been suspended. Hairabedian also requested to get his photos removed from MyJoaPoks platform. While the Grand Final is postponed to a later date, the stop in Marrakech in May will be run as scheduled, and this, with a much affordable entry-fee. With a view to run the qualifying satellite events, two-time WSOP bracelet winner Hairabedian is now seeking a new online poker platform as a partner. Speaking of live tournaments, Roger Hairabedian can still lean on Gujan-Mestras Casino, one of the multiple hosts of the tour.
