An online tournament with a Gold Bracelet as an award this year - WSOP 2015
In early February, Caesars Entertainment released the detailed schedule of the 46th annual World Series of Poker (WSOP). Indeed, the festivity will kick off on May 27 at Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino, in Las Vegas. This 2015 WSOP actually features 68 gold bracelet events, one of which will exclusively be played online. This is the great novelty of this season. Of course, not only will players get to Rio All Suite to participate in this poker festivity; they will also be offered a special opportunity to battle it out on WSOPs online poker room (2-day event) from July 2 to 3 for another gold bracelet. It is about the No-Limit Hold'em Online Event, which is ranked # 64 in this 2015 WSOP schedule. The buy-in is set to $ 1,000. Interestingly, the face-to-face clash between the two remaining finalists will be played live at the brick-and-mortar Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino.
Despite the great interest aroused by this initiative, there is a selective measure since sign-in on WSOP ipoker room is not for everyone. With the extremely binding US online poker regulation, an interstate gaming activity remains unreachable. That being said, the WSOP Event # 64 is only accessible for those within the State of Nevada. In other word, those willing to participate in this WSOP online poker tournament have to make a trip to Nevada. Given the fact that Nevada hit a record-breaking attendance on ipoker rooms last year thanks to the WSOP, the introduction of the No-Limit Hold'em Online Event is sure to help maintain the dynamism of the poker industry within the state.
