Wilfrid Schaeffer sealed the win - Everest Poker Live Saint-Amand Main Event
The freshly-completed France Poker Series along with the European Poker Tour Deauville have attracted a massive field of particpants. Currently, the festivity continues with the Everest Poker Live. Many are poker enthusiasts from France and from the neighbouring countries making the trip to this event hosted at Pasino de Saint-Amand-les-Eaux. Actually, the 300 buy-in Deep Stack Event seduced 224 players, generating an enticing prize pool of 61,152. This two-days event concluded with the victory of Wilfrid Schaeffer; he beat Julien Baldassarre in the heads-up. Schaeffer cashed 11,252 plus a 150 in tickets. Runner-up Julien Baldassarre, for his part, walked away with 8,000 of consolation prize plus 75 in tickets. Fabri Cardenia completes the podium for 6,000 + 50 of tickets.
The other players making up the Top 10 finishers earn 30 of tickets each in addition to their respective earnings: Guyaume Rouhaud (4th, 5,000), Giuseppe Ruchetti (5th, 4,200) Envain Celius (6th, 3,600), Nicolas Ludwicki (7th, 3,000), Luis Perez (8th, 2,500), Olivier Dounet (9th, 2,000) and Mohamed Nouar (10th, 1,500). After Saint-Amand, Everest Poker Live will run many other stops throughout France during the span of this year. Coming up next is another stop in Gujan-Mestras poker room from April 17 to 19, followed by that of Forges-les-Eaux (June 26 to 28), La Grande Motte (August 8 to 9), Cannes (October 10 to 11), Marrakech (November 14 to 15) and Evian (December 12 to 14).
