Saied Moradi win the top prize - Run Good Poker Series 2015 Main Event
The RunGoodGear.com Poker SeriesÂ’ stop at Downstream Casino Resort in Joplin, Missouri has just been completed with Saied Moradi winning the top prize. Talented poker player Moradi had experienced some up-and-down movement all along this RunGoodGear.com Poker Series Main Event before he emerged victorious. 328 players part took in this poker tournament, only 9 of whom would reach the final table. Mesgana Tesfalidet was the first to leave the final table for $ 4,440. Dwight Farrell fell to 8th place for $ 5,290 while Saied Moradi made a stunningly high step upwards, though being the short stack at the start of the final of eight. Shortly after, Terry Presley hit the rail (7th) for $ 6,424 in hands; Jeremy Gilmore finished 6th for $ 7,746. As for Ryan Tepen, he earned $ 9,635 for his 5th-place finish.
The four remaining players then decided to make a deal, included in which the play would see each of them walk away with a minimum gain of $ 25,000 while the first-place finisher would cash $ 27,116 plus a seat into the 2015 World Series of Poker Main Event. Randy Murfin was sent to 4th place; Matt Ellis fell to 3rd place few hands later, leaving Saied Moradi and Joel Nimmo to meet in the ultimate heads-up. Saied Moradi dominated his opponent to eventually cash the top prize of $ 27,116. As a runner-up, Joel Nimmo would console himself with the same five-digit score as Randy and Matt earned. After Downstream Casino Resort, the RunGood Poker Series circuit will make another stop next month at Horseshoe Council Bluffs, in Iowa.
