Leading the pack for Day 4 flight is Raiden Kan; he possesses 1,775,000 in chips. He is ahead of Andrew Chen (1,165,000 chips), Brian Rast (1,156,000) and Gerald Karlic (1,085,000), the three other players who make it through the next phase with over 1 million chips. Richard Lyndaker (943,000), Lennart Uphoff (796,000), Joel Douaglin (765,000), Terence Clee (750,000), Calvin Ho (720,000) and James Rann (684,000) round out the chip counts Top 10.
Defending Aussie Millions champion Ami Barer is also heading to Day 4 with 443,000 chips. Ditto for world-famed Phil Ivey, who managed to garner 439,000 chips. In four years, this is the third time the American poker pro secures ITM place in the Aussie Millions Main Event. Other notable names, including Jonathan Roy (467,000), Grant Levy (471,000) and Tony Hachem (409,000) are also part of the 30-player field. Mike McDonald is the short stack of the day with 160,000 chips. However, 63 players headed to Crown poker rooms exit empty-handed on Thursday. These unlucky ones include Phillip Gruissem (74th) and James Kennedy (73rd), the bubble boy of the event. $ 25,000 buy-in Challenge first-place finisher Alex Trevallion (33rd), Felix Stephensen (43rd), Bryan Huang (48th) and Terrence Chan (49th) also hit the rail but made the money.
