Jan Suchanek leads heading to Day #3 - Aussie Millions 2015 Main Event
127 players would make it through the next phase of the Aussie Millions Poker Championship Main Event 2015. These Day 2 survivors will battle it out to reach, at least, the 72 ITM places on Day 3, or trying to remain in the race for the $ 1.6 million first-place prize. Jan Suchanek bags the largest stack up at the end of the day. He now possesses 483,900 chips. Keanu Simpson is right behind with 403,000 chips, followed by Michael Pedley (376,700), James Rann (360,000), Andrew Chen (344,000), Alex Antonios (329,000), Grant Levy (324,000), Michael Addamo (321,000), Don Mishra (320,000) and reigning champ Ami Barer (10th in chip count: 318,600). The latter is among the men to watch in this battle.
Alex Trevallion has hit his best career performance at the Aussie Millions. After his $ 25,000 Challenge win and another final-table finish in the $ 100,000 Challenge Event, the Australian poker guru went aheand to reach Day 3 of the Aussie Millions Main Event. Phil Ivey, Benny Spindler, Mike McDonald, PhilippGruissem, Jonathan Roy, Tony Hachem, Terrence Chan, Marko Neumann, Mustapha Kanitet and Grant Levy are the other notable poker players who managed to qualify for Day 3 battle. As for Dan Smith, Erik Seidel, Dan Cates, Ole Schemion, Patrik Antonius, Jeff Lisandro and Joe Hachem, they were unlucky enough to veer off the road when Day 2 ended. Each of the 72 players who will make the money will walk away with a minimum gain of $ 15,000 while the 1st-place and 2nd-place finishers in this poker tournament will be awarded a six-digit score: $ 1,600,000 for the No.1, and $ 1,000,000 for the runner-up.
