Sean O'Reilly beat Xuan Liu to win Event #4 - Aussie Millions 2015
Four championship rings have already been distributed since the beginning of the famed poker tournament- 2015 Aussie Millions Poker Championship. There are still 17 events to be played and many rings to be won at Crown Casino, in Melbourne, until February 2nd. After Vic Spadavecchia (Opening Event-Event # 1), Daniel Rudd (Shotclock Shootout-Event# 2) and Oliver Gill (8-Game Mixed-Event # 3), Sean O'Reilly has just joined the winners ‘circle by grabbing a championship ring home thanks to his win in the $1,150 buy-in NLHE Six-Max, Event #4. Recall that Sean O'Reilly beat Canadian lady poker pro Xuan Liu in a knotty heads-up. Actually 496 players took part in the battle, but only 7 remained in the ultimate race: Bobby Zhang, Xuan Liu, Adam Jarvis, David Urban, Sean O'Reilly, Robbie Fisher-O'Brien and Shivan Abdine.
Andrew Hinrichsen, Ash Warner, Martin Finger, Anthony Hachem, Rory Young, Tony Hachem, Dennis Huntly and Tom Grigg are among the notable poker players who early found themselves out of the room. In the heads-up, Sean O'Reilly literally dominated Xuan Liu. As a reward, he cashed the $ 107,200 first-place prize. Runner-up Xuan Liu would console herself with $ 71,500 of prize. As for Bobby Zhang, he was sent to the rail in the 3rd place for $ 52,500. David Urban fell to 4th place ($ 41,000), Shivan Abdeen finished 5th ($ 30,500), Adam Jarvis 6th ($ 20,500) while Robbie Fisher-O'Brien secured 7th place for $ 10,500. The 2015 Aussie Millions Poker Championship festival continues at Crown Poker Room with Event # 5 $ 1,150 PLO running its final day. The $ 1,150 buy-in Accumulator Event (Event # 6) is also expected to attract lots more players as Day 1A (held on Wednesday) has already seduced 158 participants.
