Kevin Schulz grabbed home the Main Event first-place prize - PCA 2015
The Pokerstars Caribbean Adventure 2015 Main Event (PCA) has just ended with USAs Kevin Schulz winning the top prize. In 2014, it took nearly 16 hours for the poker event to bring about a winner, Dominik Panka. This time, only six hours were enough for the lucky one to emerge from the final table of six. Interestingly, Kevin Schulz entered the ultimate battle second in chip count. He gradually amassed some chips and eventually sent chip leader Chance Kornuth to the rail. Following his 4th place at the WSOP 2012, this first-place finish remains the first big achievement Kevin Schulz has ever reached. Indeed, Schulz has been awarded the biggest seven-score win of his career, $ 1,491,580. May we remind you that he cashed $ 267,792 of prize for his 4th-place finish at the WSOP 2012.
Kevin Schulz has come a long way to win this PCA 2015 title after a tough heads-up against Perus Diego Ventura. As a runner-up, Diego has been awarded $ 907,080 of prize. Rami Boukai was the first player to leave the final table. He walked away with $ 285,740, a pretty logical run since he entered the battle as a short-stack. Diego was sent out of the poker tournament after playing five hands. Argentinas Juan Martin Pastor fell to 5th place for $ 380,720. Germanys Niklas Hambitzer finished 4th place for $ 482,820 .Chance Kornuth lost his status of chip leader and ultimately found himself falling to 3rd place. He earned $ 641,140 though. Then the scenery was set for a heads-up between Kevin Schulz and Diego Ventura. Needless to say, Juan Martin Pastor, Niklas Hambitzer and Chance Kornuth failed to resist against Kevin Schulz and his deep-run.
