Ronaldo listed among the 57 survivors heading to Day 4 - PCA 2015 Main Event

Of the 175 players who battled it out on Day 3 flight of the $ 10,000 buy-in PokerStars Caribbean Adventure Main Event, only 57 players now remain in the race. Almost two thirds of the field has left the poker room of Bahamas’ Atlantis Resort... empty-handed. Lucky enough, some high profile players have managed to reach the 119 “In The Money” places. This panel includes Daniel Negreanu, Shawn Buchanan Andre Akkari, George Lind, Max Silver, Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier and Liv Boeree. Arne Kern is the bubble boy of the event. Many other notables including Connor Drinan and Chance Kornuth did not make the money.

As mentioned above, 57 players remain in the hunt for the title and the seven-digit score. To the surprise of poker community, Brazil’s football legend “Ronaldo” has made it through Day 4. The retired football player himself is surprised with his performance. He has a pretty modest stack of 512,000 chips while the new chip leader, Juan Etcheverry, will start the day with 1,704,000 chips. Chance Kornuth and Kevin Schulz are the two other players with more than 1 million chips heading to Day 4. Note that the 57 survivors include Rami Boukai, Pratyush Buddiga, Naoya Kihara, JC Alvarado, Jason Mercier, Jonathan Duhamel, Ole Schemion and Shannon Shorr. France has two representatives to battle it out on Day 4: the 2014WPT National Paris champion “Emrah Cakmak”, and Benjamin Pollak, a regular participant in this circuit.
