175 players make it through Day 3 - PCA 2015
After Barcelona and Prague, the European Poker Tour (EPT) has just been serving poker fans with a new stop in the Bahamas, the Pokerstars Caribbean Adventure (PCA). Atlantis Resort plays host to the festivity. Actually, 816 players have registered themselves in the Main Event, but only 175 survive when Day 2 resumed. In fact, 507 participants joined back the poker room of Atlantis Resort; after five 90-minute levels of play, the field trimmed to 175. Walter Fisher is heading to Day 3 as chipleader. He has an impressive stack of 497,000 chips. Hugh Drummond and Juan Martin Pastor are also well placed with 456,800 and 446,000 chips respectively. Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier, Daniel Negreanu, Liv Boeree and Brazilian football legend Ronaldo are among the 175-player field heading to the next phase of this PCA Main Event.
Ronaldo will start the day with 146,300 chips. He has managed to run ahead of other notable names (in chip count) such as Jonathan Duhamel (77,700 chips) and Jason Mercier (49,000). Of course, Day 3 promises to be enticing with a wide panel of stars battling to reach the 119 ITM places. This panel includes Jim Collopy (with 342,000 chips), Daniel Negreanu (295,600), Liv Boeree (247,100), Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier (212,400), Ole Schemion (192,600), Olivier Busquet (190,700) and Mike Leah (185,400). As for Dominik Panka, Faraz Jaka, Jacob Bazeley, Vanessa Selbst, Chris Moneymaker, Shaun Deeb, Randy Lew and George Danzer, these notables were sent to the rail. They failed to qualify for Day 3 battle.
